Luna InsightŪ is the application program used to maintain and view collections of images which are owned or licensed for access by the Cornell community. You can access Luna InsightŪ using the InsightŪ Web browser via Internet Explorer or Netscape. This site is for educational, non-commercial, and personal use only:
Terms and Conditions
The Genral Public -- those who are not members of the current Cornell Community -- may access the Image Collections via the Insight Browser. You can access the Browser collections by clicking collection icons on our home page.
The Browser client will function anywhere in the world, but there are some special restrictions we must implement to comply with copyright regulations, such as limitations on the resolution size of images that can be viewed, and restrictions from viewing copyrighted collection content from an off-campus computer.
If you use the Browser access method, you may notice a red "x" in place of an image where image resolution size is restricted, or you may be denied access to certain collections off-campus. Still, the Insight Browser is a powerful way to access the collections. There are some required or recommended computer specifications for Browser access.
The Insight Browser operates through Internet Explorer 5.0+ or Netscape Navigator 6.2+ The Browser does not require installation or plug-ins. First time users should check their browser configuration here . Click on these links to download the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape.
