The Java Client program requires a valid Cornell NetID and password to download. Cornell community members can easily download an auto-install Client program to their PC through which logon to the collections is also automatic: Insight 5.1 PC Download for Standard Account
Faculty, Staff, and other Cornell affiliates with need for special account privileges for instruction, research, and development should select the Special Insight download. They will need to obtain a special account username and password to access the collections: Insight 5.1 PC Download for Special Account
To obtain a secured username and password, please contact Luna Support at lunasupport-l@cornell.edu. In your Subject Header type "Insight Password Request", and indicate if you are Faculty, Staff, or other Cornell affiliate.
Recommended Windows requirements: 128MB RAM, Windows 98 or above, 50 MB of free disk space.
Faculty and students
using a Macintosh and needing access to most features should
download one of the following clients:
New Insight 5.1 Mac Download for a special account. Recommended
Mac requirements: 128MB RAM, OS X, 50 MB of free disk space. Note for Macintosh Users:
Use of the Java Client requires Max OS X. Users of Insight with older operating systems may use the InsightŪ Browser Client The
Insight Browser
operates through Internet Explorer 5.0+ or
Netscape Navigator 6.2+ The Browser
does not require installation or plug-ins. First time users should check their
browser configuration here

Explorer and Netscape.
Please note for the Mac OS X installers: After extracting the .zip files and installing the Insight Client on your Macintosh you need to move the insight.dat file that is provided with the installinsight.zip files above and use it to replace the insight.dat file located in Applications --> LunaImaging --> Insight 5.1.
